Jib Jab Hot Dog Shoppe in Girard

What can I say about this place! It's a local favorite. They have an incredible selection of hot sauce. They have hot dogs. They serve breakfast. The food is cheap. These are all good things, but this place is by no means gourmet. Don't get me wrong, that's okay. Just don't expect anything crazy.

The food is great. The only thing that is not any good is the service. The last three times i have been therewhen i take my lid off my cup they never came back to check on us or ask if we need anything else. We got nothing.

The food is so good way better then the hot dog shop in Warren hands down.

Wow if you want a great chili dog and more this is the place. First time there and we will be back and very reasonably priced.

Completely lost me as a customer, when I can calculate my total faster than they can type it in a computer & they give me 3 different totals then they seriously need to step their game up. I understand that everyone is going through alot due to this virus but, that doesn't give anyone the right to be so ignorant & unprofessional to anyone let alone a lifetime customer.

Have come here for many moons. Menu caters to healthy and unhealthy diets! Great soup, short wait-time, cleanly. Very hometown!

Hot sausage at Jib Jab are very good. French Fries are also very good. Prices good

While I don't eat hot dogs I love coming here for their amazing burgers, fries and shake! Prices are great too! You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't go here

Stumbled upon this spot by accident. Prices are EXCELLENT, food was EXCELLENT, and service was EXCELLENT! Thanks for having me crave this place that is almost 2000 miles away!!! lol If EVER in your neck of the wood again I will make sure to go out of my way to get another chili cheese dog with onions (or a dozen!) and an order of your fresh cut fries... WELL DONE and THANK YOU!

Line is usually backed around the building, so its usually faster to just walk in & order to go. The fries could have been cooked longer (they came out greasy) but burger/dogs are ALWAYS yummy.

There are just not enough great hot dog places anymore but Jib Jab is one of the best. I litterally drive an hour just to get some of their great dogs. Their food is always fresh and their service is fast and friendly. Also its pretty cheap. You can easily go away with fully bellies for under 15$ for two people.

The standard I judge all hot dogs by. I'm not saying there aren't better ones out there. But at the price jib jib sells them for I don't believe there are. I've eaten hot dogs that were more filling and fancier and 5 times more expensive. I didn't enjoy them any more than eating a few good jib jab dogs with sauce and onions.

I got the 2 breakfast sandwiches for $4.20 and they were awesome. Sausage, egg, and cheese on a bun; you can't go wrong. A quick and simple way to start the day. I can understand why the line is sometimes out on the street. I've had the fish sandwich previously and that was wonderful as well.

Best chili dogs in the state. Service is top notch. Never regret eating there. Chili cheese fries are another must have. Huge poisons for cheap price. Highly recommended. They serve breakfast also. Coffee is above par.

Service is fast, food was tasty and cheap. If you ever need a quick bite and a quality frank, look no further, Jib Jab has everything you could ever want! If you like fair-style fries, then these are the best. Vinegar is also supplied, which is something enough places don't offer.

Lunch today 12/11/19 about 2 pm. No downside to this place. The hot dogs are good and inexpensive. Fries very good. Free drink refills. Just a plain good place. Staff very nice also.

Hometown hot dog shop. If you move away, this is your first stop when coming home, rarely make it home before here. Great place, selection is unique and all are amazing! Cheese and chili dogs and fries are on point. But all options are worth a try. You will not be disappointed.

Great place for a fast and easy meal. I had 2 coneys with sauce, small order of fries (hand cut, BTW) and a Pepsi, ordered and served in under 5 minutes and just $5.45 including tax. The hot dogs tasty, and served very hot as are the fries. The parking lot is large, but, always nearly filled. NO TRUCK PARKING IS AVAILABLE HERE. Jibjab is located in Girard, Ohio just off of I 80, at rt 422 exit, turn north and go just a 1/4 mi on the right.

Staff is always awesome! come for the hot dogs stay for the chili cheese fries! If you are in town and looking for good food, you've gotta stop by!

I'd definitely eat here again! I love the fact that they have a drive thru. The hot dogs and chili was delicious and the fries I got wasn't greasy like other hot dog places I've been to. Fast service! Good People!

My biggest complaint is more about pricing - the shake is very small for the price and sausage was not visually appealing and the taste was just so-so. The chili was decent. Overall it was just an "ok" experience. Staff was friendly, once I was actually acknowledged (which was amazing, since I sat practically next to the register). The young girl saw me but made no acknowledgement or greeting. I sat there so long being ignored, I genuinely felt like I sat in the wrong place. I was not asked if I had been there or greeted. There was no small talk (if she had asked, she would have learned I came 45 mins out of my way just to try their food.) After I ate, she never asked how my meal was (I Would have said so-so, decent but lacked that "wow" I expected and the portion sizes seemed small. Overall, it was ok, but not great.

Got to love this place. Just word of advice the cherry pop is great but you must order a X large to get the big one. Ordered large and got a medium in my opinion.

For my first time there it was very disgusting. The hot dogs are barely warm. The milkshake had a spoiled taste.

Very convenient stop right off I-80 if you are driving through. All of our food was under $10 and I had 2 hot dogs. My husband really liked the tartar sauce on the fish sandwich.

It was awesome!! I just wish you gave wet naps. Very messy. But worth it.

Have had hot dog places in different cities. We are lucky to have one of the best near us!

I've got to admit...it's one of our new favorites!!! Not only ya'll are complying with all the rules...you have GREAT FOOD!! The drive thru line stays busy as well as inside. Keep up the great work!!!

Way better than warren's hotdog shoppe better food more variety

Great place for the money. I got 2 chili cheese dogs and a chili cheese fry for less than $5. I rate it only 4 stars because they don't offer beef hotdogs. If they had beef hotdogs it would bring it up to 5 stars. The food was great and fresh and service was fairly quick. Apparently, it's unknown that they offer free refills on your drinks. The restaurant itself was very clean and service was great. I didn't get an opportunity to see the restrooms, so I can't review them on that, but next time I'm in Youngstown, I'll definitely return.

Everyone knows they have the best chili. PERIOD. People will regularly travel 45+ mins just to get jib jab. Yes, it's on that level of greatness...
